WASHINGTON --The Obama administration expects to begin disbursing funds from its signature small-business lending program soon, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Wednesday, though banks have requested only a little more than one-third of total funds available.We have begun notifying banks that have been approved for the program, and expect to begin providing capital very soon, Geithner said in remarks prepared for a House Small Business Committee hearing.
