Q: I have been working with my bank on a loan modification, but just received a notice of foreclosure. I contacted the lawyer who is handling the foreclosure process, but she said she is acting on instructions from the lender and there was nothing she could do about stopping the process. Whats going on, and what remedy do I have?A: This is a nationwide problem: The bank and the banks lawyer are just not communicating with each other. But help is on the way. In May, for example, the Supreme Court of South Carolina ordered lenders not to foreclose until they can demonstrate that they have given homeowners a meaningful opportunity to modify their loans. And the demonstration must be in the form of a certificate filed with the court.

    • The BLS provides data for the industries with the highest demand for surgical technologists in general.

Some grants do not cover all expenses, and recipients are required to cover some of the project costs with funds from other sources.

    • Community banquet halls, centers and other facilities used for community services are constructed, renovated and expanded using grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The Community Facilities Grant Program awards grants to towns, districts and municipalities with fewer than 20,000 residents to fund projects of facilities used for public safety and healthcare as well.

New York - Deutsche Bank AG asked a US federal court to dismiss a government complaint that alleged it had lied about the calibre of mortgages to qualify for a government insurance programme and dramatically increase the mortgages resale value.

Deutsche Bank called the complaint fatally flawed in its filing Monday to the court in Manhattan, arguing that the complaint concerned activity by its MortgageIT Inc subsidiary that allegedly occurred before Deutsche Bank took it over in 2007.
